While I am in another city and do not have access to my tools or a 3D printer, I decided to assemble a mobile workplace that will be suitable for such long stays away from home. Games in this case are not the main thing. The main things: energy efficiency, small size, pleasant usability. The weight is also not critical because this is not the workplace that is carried in a backpack every day, but the workplace that I can take with me and deploy in the hotel room.
I will update this article and photo as I find some cool things to add or change in this setup. Pure for fan article, so to speak.

+ 16.08.2024 update with "Wacom Movink" as a main monitor.
During the creation of my daily setup, I decided to use a trackball as my pointer device. And now I am completely in love with this type of input device. It's comfortable, tactile, and looks cool. I decided to create a separate article exclusively for them, where I want to share my opinion about different models and my experience with usage, maintenance, and modifications.
Let me start with trackball types. After this, I am going to share some thoughts about the trackballs I had to deal with.

I am a big fan of "natural-like digital drawing" idea when we are trying to emulate real drawing media workflow with digital tools instead of just do imitate this drawing media look with assortment of brush shapes.
The main idea of this project was to emulate the process of drawing wi`th a charcoal pencil as closely as possible with the usage of the Krita software. As well as explain the brush creation process in "Krita" without abstract examples and with the particular goal. For sure, I still do not know a lot about brush engines in "Krita" but I hope this article will get in use by people who are only trying to figure it out from scratch by themselves... like I did.
And here is the sneak peek of the result.

Years of dedication to gamepads from Sony have passed. I am looking for alternatives. In this article you can read what happened and brief reviews of my findings.

8BitDo Pro 2 Bluetooth
In this article I want to tell you about one of the advance media stacks to watch video on your PC.
In this build I'm trying to avoid all unnecessary data processing hops to increase processing speed and reduce latencies and it will help to bring media content on your screen as closer to the original as it's possible with less compressing, transformations, corrections... etc. Basic idea here if you do not know for what it is better turn it off. Also this guide will help you to dive into ocean of high quality video playback with all this acronyms and preferences which we are usually prefer to do not touch and to use VLC Player instead... lol.
This is just one of the examples and it doesn't claim to be perfect or only one right. This is just a base for you. Most of this options are very subjective because everybody have their personal preferences, but anyway some points are very preferable to be turned on or turned off, so let's go through my setup and I will try to explain as much as I can and as much as I know by myself. But I need to warn you that like for most such setups something can go wrong on different OS or hardware so you and only you responsible for your actions.
So let's start!
I am a big fan of natural-like digital drawing. And it is really cool to have some drawing tablet that you can carry with you and do some doodles and sketching on it. "Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+" fits good for this role as well. However the biggest problem of Android platform that there are not so many good apps for digital drawing and notes taking on it. However, there is one really old dark horse among them called "Clover Paint". It is developed and supporting by some enthusiasts from Japan. And I really admire the work they have done. This app has an amazing level of customization and flexibility. But in return it requires from user to spend few hours only to set it up for his needs. Considering amount of settings and possibilities it creates pretty steep learning curve. In combination with an outdated design it can give you false negative impression. But I still think this app is great and I really want to make some contribution to it.
Here is a video demonstration of how interaction with the application takes place. As I already mentioned, Clover Paint setup possibilities are extremely flexible so you can create workspace that is completelly different from out-of-the-box version. I tried to make most minimalistic and nature-like setup possible. It is good for quick notes and sketches. Also just look how great this app is according to navigation speed.
If you want to get same result, proceed with the guide.
